FAQ
I’ve got an existing eCommerce site fully coded. Can you convert it to Magento / Shopify / Wordpress for me?
Of course! We’re skilled coders. HTML and CSS are our bread and butter. We recommend one of the above platforms as they meet today’s challenging industry standards. But that doesn’t mean we can’t work with your existing code. Designers are our core business. But we’re here to help business owners who need their websites refreshed, as well.
There’s plenty of conversion services out there. Why should I choose you?
We’re the best. We specialize in producing eCommerce, and we only build eCommerce sites. We reckon you can either be pretty good at everything, or really good at one thing. Because we produce sites just like yours every day, we can handle eCommerce sites faster than other coders. We’re more experienced in coding for eCommerce. That makes us more reliable, too.
Tell me about your testing process.
Naturally all our pages are HTML / CSS validated. But we check, and double check, that everything works. Once we’ve coded a site for you, we’ll upload it to our demo site so you can test it, too. We’re not happy until you’re happy. If there’s any bugs, we’ll fix them. If you decide to redesign your site, we’re still here to help.
Why can’t I do this myself?
Most people can code a little. Then again, most people hate having to code a lot. HTML is easy. Integrating it into an eCommerce platform is hard.
Building an eCommerce website takes a lot of effort. And if you’re not 100% sure about what you’re doing, it’s going to take you even longer to iron out your bugs than it took you to code the site. We build eCommerce websites every day. Working with us on your site’s development enables you to get on with what you do best — designing websites. With us by your side, you’re able to offer your clients a fast, professional, total solution.
What are your terms and conditions?
Talk to us and get a quote. We’ll work out which platform is best for you, and how much customization your site’s back-end will need. Once we’ve agreed on a price, we’ll start work for a standard 50% deposit. Your deadlines are our deadlines. We’ll be honest about how long we think a project will take when we take it on, and we’ll never take on more work than we can handle. When you work with us, quality is guaranteed. We know you wouldn’t settle for anything less.
Can you ensure discretion?
Of course. We understand that some designers prefer to keep outsourcing off the record. We’ll happily provide a non-disclosure agreement as part of our contract.
I live abroad. Can you tell me how much my site will cost?
We’re an international company, working with clients across the world. For simplicity, all our prices are displayed in $ USD only and we request payment in USD. We’ve found it’s simpler to work this way. We’re coders, not accountants.
What are your office hours?
We work Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. We like to take our weekends off. Just because we’re programmers, doesn’t mean we don’t have lives.
I’ve got a big project with a lot of pages. Can I get a bulk discount?
Of course. Contact us with your order and we’ll give you an idea of how much you can save.
I’m not happy with your work. Can you make amends to my site for me?
If our code doesn’t match your design, we’ll re-work it for free. But if you want us to re-work a project because you’ve made subsequent changes to the design, we will have to ask for an additional fee.
We recommend that all designs be finalized before submitting them to us.
How can I contact you?
You can get in touch via email, phone, and instant messenger. See details here.
How do I pay you?
We accept payment through the PayPal network, which can handle credit card payments. We’re also happy to accept wire transfers for a minimal extra fee. These are standard, secure ways of payment. However, we’re willing to discuss payment via other methods if you get in touch.
What format should I submit my designs to you in?
We prefer layered PSD, PNG or TIFF files. We’re also capable of working with AI/EPS files, but you should be aware that additional time will be required to convert your files into PSD format, which will require further inspection by you before we proceed.
If you don’t have layered files, we’re also able to accept flattened designs in other formats like JPEG or PDF. For PDF files, please specify the exact dimensions in pixels to be used for the page.
It may be undesirable or even impossible to use flattened files for some site elements. Projects created with flattened images will require additional time.
